I am experienced in all aspects of communication and digital marketing. Proven skills in project management, copy writing, web and graphic design, illustration, animation, reporting, budgeting and achieving targets. A self-starter committed to providing a quality service and working to high standards. Strong interpersonal skills reflected in working as part of various teams and occasionally training staff. I have an MA degree in Journalism at the Independent Colleges of Dublin (2009/2010, first-class honours) and an MA in Communication Science (2006, distinction), with a thesis in Philosophy of Languages and Contemporary Art. I also have a FETAC Level 6 Certificate in Web Design, a FTEAC Level 5 in 3D modelling and Animaiton, both with distintion and a number of courses in graphic design, layout and digital illustration. Since 2006, I have worked in media, digital and publishing companies. These experiences have provided me with a broad and long-standing range of skills, including digital marketing, social media management, website and CMS management, email marketing, PPC , SEO and SEM, Google Analytics, Google Webmaster, news and content writing, publishing and researching, proofreading and editing of promotional materials. Worked as a part of a digital marketing team: authored and implemented business wide internet marketing strategies in order to increase natural search results, PPC, ROI and find innovative ways of increasing traffic to websites.
• Responsible for mid and long term strategic plans and pitches to optimize and drive traffic to pharmaceutical companies’ and charities’ websites. Strategic plans included: target audiences, driving traffic to websites, SEO, PPC Advertising (Adwords, Facebook and LinkedIn), video syndication, integrated strategies to leverage Social Media, use of QR Codes, digital events promotion, digital contests, landing pages, email marketing, iPhone Apps, augmented reality, online flash banners advertising, costs and budgets.
• Search Engine Optimization and Search Engine Marketing: monitoring Search Engine ranking and submitting regular SEO recommendations, including content writing. Responsible for researching the latest trends in SEO, SEM and digital marketing and report to the team.
• Management of Pay Per Click campaigns, from conception to optimization, set up and ads copy-writing for the Google Search Network and Google Display Network, LinkedIn and Facebook in order to enhance brand and product awareness. Testing ad copy, conducting keyword and competitor research. Managed and optimized twelve campaigns for a total budget of €50.000. Best performing Ad group reached a 14.17% CTR.

• Web analytics and reports: prepared analytical reports via database and spreadsheet software for marketing analysis. Used bid management tools to optimise PPC campaigns. Reported on website traffic and trends using Google Analytics and other analytic tools for email marketing, apps downloads, social media monitoring etc. Tracked 15 websites and reported for improvements. A new website received 25.000 visits in 3 months
